Estate planning made simple
WillSafe UK provides professionally drafted, plain-English DIY will kits and estate-planning templates for people in England and Wales.
What WillSafe UK is
WillSafe UK is a direct-to-consumer provider of DIY will-writing kits and estate-planning document templates. We sell downloadable, fillable templates, including single wills, mirror wills for couples, LPA guidance packs, letters of wishes, funeral wishes planners, digital legacy inventories, executor guides, and more.
Every template is drafted in accordance with the Wills Act 1837 and written in plain English at a reading age of 10–12. No legal jargon, no confusing language. You download, fill in, print, and sign with two witnesses. That is it.
Will-writing is not a reserved legal activity in England and Wales under the Legal Services Act 2007. Anyone over 18 with mental capacity can write their own will. Our templates give you a clear, professionally structured starting point.
Who it is for
Our kits are designed for adults in England and Wales with straightforward estates who want to:
- ✓ Write a legally valid will without paying solicitor fees
- ✓ Put a complete estate plan in place in a single afternoon
- ✓ Appoint guardians for their children
- ✓ Record funeral wishes and digital asset information
- ✓ Prepare a Letter of Wishes alongside their will
- ✓ Understand Lasting Powers of Attorney and the OPG process
If you own a business, have property abroad, need trusts for inheritance tax planning, or have a blended family with potential disputes, we recommend speaking to a solicitor.

Important: what we are not
WillSafe UK is a self-help template product. We do not provide legal advice. We are not a firm of solicitors. We do not carry out reserved legal activities such as probate applications or the conduct of litigation.
Our templates are designed for straightforward situations. If your estate is complex, for example if it involves trusts, business assets, foreign property, or potential disputes, we strongly recommend consulting a qualified solicitor.
We do not offer, broker, or advertise prepaid funeral plans (which are FCA-regulated), financial advice, tax-mitigation advice, life insurance, or investment products.
