Does this include the official LPA forms?+
No. The official LP1F (Property & Financial Affairs) and LP1H (Health & Welfare) forms are free HMCTS documents available at gov.uk. This guidance pack explains every section of those forms in plain English and walks you through completing them correctly. We link directly to the official forms.
Do you submit the LPA for me?+
No. Submitting an LPA is not something we can do on your behalf. You post the completed forms to the Office of the Public Guardian with the registration fee (£82 per LPA, 2026). Our guide covers the whole process including what to expect during registration.
How long does LPA registration take?+
The OPG's current processing time is typically 8–20 weeks. This is why registering early — while you still have full capacity — is so important. An unregistered LPA cannot be used.
